Iranian female Taekwondo players win another 3 medals

Istanbul (IP): Iranian women's national taekwondo team could successfully win another 3 medals in the 8th Turkish Open Taekwondo Tournament.

Iran PressAsia: The fights of the second day (Thursday) were followed in the weights of 53, 57, and 67 kg, and Ghazal Soltani, Nahid Kiani, Kowsar Asaseh, and Melika Mir Hosseini were the Iranian taekwondo players who competed on this day, and finally, Soltani won the silver medal, and Kiani and Mir Hosseini won a bronze medal to bring the total number of Taekwondo girls' medals at the event to six.

On the first day of the competition, Zahra Pouresmaeil defeated Spanish Tania Castineira Etcheverria in the final match of the +73 kg.

 Furthermore; Yalda Valinejhad and Parisa Jaavdi also claimed two bronze medals at the 62kg category.

The 8th International Adult Taekwondo Tournament of Turkey in the adult age category with the participation of 535 taekwondo fighters started on Wednesday in Istanbul and will continue until Friday.
