The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Saturday accused Armenia of violating the trilateral agreement between the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia on the end of the war and the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Iran PressAsia: The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan emphasizes that the illegal deployment of Armenian forces on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a serious violation of the tripartite Nagorno-Karabakh peace agreement between Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia.

In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan called on Armenia to end the illegal deployment of its forces on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in Nagorno-Karabakh and also called on the international community to help put an end to the provocative actions of Armenia.

The conflict between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh region, which began in 1988 and turned into a military conflict in 1991, resumed on September 27, 2020, with opening fire on each other's positions.
