Baghdad (IP): The Secretary-General of Asaeb Ahl al-Haq stressed that the only way to stabilize Iraq was the expulsion of American troops from the country.

Iran Press/Middle East: On Saturday, Qais al-Khazali, the secretary-general of Asaeb Ahl al-Haq in Iraq, condemned the US airstrikes on the headquarters of the al-Hashd al-Shabi forces on the Iraqi-Syrian border, saying the move by the new US administration and its hostile policies were clearly serving the Zionist regime and it was to the detriment of the Iraqi people and the shedding of their blood.

Al-Khazali added that the only way to achieve stability and peace in Iraq was to expel American forces and that the administration of the people and the political decisions and the strength of the Iraqi resistance are sufficient to achieve this very goal.

The United States attacked the headquarters of Iraqi forces in the Syrian-Iraqi border area on Friday morning. More than 30 Iraqi armed forces are said to have been killed and wounded in the attack.
