Over 1,350k COVID patients recovered in Iran

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Ministry of Health spokeswoman announced on Monday that 1,582,275 people in the country had been infected with the coronavirus, and 1,351,390 recovered.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 22, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 8,263 cases out of whom 741 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that in the past 24 hours, 89 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 59,572.

3,685 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 10,501,415 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 11 cities are in red, 52 in orange, 217 are in yellow, and 168 are in the blue zones.

Ahvaz, Karun, Abadan, Khorramshahr, Dezful, Shooshtar, Shadegan, Ramhormoz, Hoveyzeh, Bandar Mahshahr, and Dashte Azadeghan are red zones.
