Tehran (IP) - The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), said that many of the products that used to enter the country are now made by Iranian youth.

Iran Press/Iran News:  On the sidelines of the Virtual Science and Technology Festival and the Fifth Exhibition of Science and Technology Jihadists, Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami told reporters that economic, industrial, scientific, and technological sanctions were imposed on Iran to stop Iran's progress. 

Major General Salami said: "Sanctions are one of the historic opportunities for Iran's self-sufficiency and these sanctions have caused dependence to be cut."

The Virtual Science and Technology Festival and the fifth exhibition of science and technology jihadists are being held in Tehran with the presence of the IRGC's commander.

More than 150 booths from all over the country have been showcasing their inventions for two days.
