Tehran (IP) - Iranian Ministry of Health spokeswoman announced in her presser on Saturday that the death toll from COVID-19 in Iran had reached 57,294, noting that the disease has taken the lives of 69 patients over the past 24 hours.

Iran Press/Iran News: Sima Sadat Lari stated that the number of people tested positive for COVID-19 across the country has risen to 1,367,032 after detecting 6,207 new cases since yesterday.

Of the new cases detected over the past 24 hours, 495 patients have been admitted to the hospital, she added.Among those undergoing treatment in medical centers, 4,106 coronavirus patients have critical health conditions, Lari pointed.

At least 1,158,475 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran, the spokeswoman stated.

Lari also noted that more than 8,850,281 coronavirus diagnostic tests had been carried out in Iran so far.

As she pointed out, according to the latest analysis, 18 cities are in orange, 154 in yellow, and 276 are in the blue zones.
