Iran Press/ Iran News: Eshaq Jahangiri, First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Tuesday, in a meeting with the Iraqi Minister of Trade and Chairman of the Joint Commission of the two countries Alaa Ahmed al-Jubouri, stressed: "The two sides have been in various negotiations, the implementation of which can help expand relations and meet the needs of the people of the two countries."
The first vice president of Iran added: "During the visit of the president of Iran to Baghdad, it was agreed to increase economic relations to $ 20 billion in the future, and the joint commission should plan and formulate ways to achieve the target."
Alaa Ahmed al-Jubouri, the Iraqi Minister, also referred to the visit of a high-ranking Iraqi delegation to Tehran and said: "The trip is aimed at reviving the two countries' joint economic commission to set clear frameworks for the activities of all economic sectors."
The fourth meeting of the Joint Economic Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Iraq was held in Tehran after six years.
