Maduro in New Year's message: We will strengthen relations with Iran

At the beginning of 2021, the President of Venezuela, emphasised strengthening relations with Iran, Russia, China, Cuba, Turkey, and India.

Iran Press/America: "Our country's gates are open to the world," Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said in an analysis of the issues ahead in the new year, according to Venezuela's AVN news agency: "Undoubtedly, we will establish special relations with the governments and nations of Russia, the People's Republic of China, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Cuba, India, as well as relations with Turkey and the countries of South Africa."

"Despite media attacks seeking to show that Venezuela is collapsing, we will overcome sanctions and the epidemic crisis by relying on domestic capabilities and working with friendly countries," Maduro said.

The President of Venezuela announced a few days ago that Colombia is preparing attacks against Venezuelan military units in the coming days (end of 2020 and early 2021).
