The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif, continued his meeting with Venezuelan officials and met with the President of the country, Nicolas Maduro.

Iran PressAmerica: Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro discussed and exchanged views on various aspects and issues of relations between the two countries and the most important international issues.

Zarif had consulted with Vice President Delcy Rodríguez and Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza before meeting with Maduro.

The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran arrived in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, on Wednesday for the first destination of his trip to three countries in South America which includes Venezuela, Cuba and Bolivia.

Zarif will travel to Cuba and Bolivia after Venezuela.

The Iranian Foreign Minister is scheduled to attend the inauguration of the new Bolivian President, Luis Arce.
