Iran Press/Iran news: The inauguration of 25 hydroelectric projects in 4 provinces is via video conference with Iran's President Hassan Rouhani and Iran's Minister of Energy Reza Ardakanian in attendance.
In the opening ceremony of the weekly utility projects on Thursday, Hassan Rouhani expressed hope that efforts come to effect in reviving Urmia Lake to celebrate the revival in the early days of the next Iranian year.
Rouhani said that if the lake were left to be totally dried, it would put an end to life in the northwest of the country due to sand and salt storms, and people would be forced to migrate to other cities.
