A senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement said that the Israeli army's attacks on the Gaza Strip show the pinnacle of confusion among regime's officials and their fear of Islamic resistance groups.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to Palestine al-Youm news network, a senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Ahmad al-Mudallal said that the Israeli army's attacks on Gaza yesterday morning (Saturday) showed the confusion of the occupying regime's officials.

He added that the confusion had reached its peak due to the dissolution of the Knesset (Israeli parliament) and the situation leading up to the fourth round of elections in the occupied territories, which caused a political and military crisis in the regime.

Al-Mudallal stressed that the Zionist regime is trying to escape its political crises by continuing its attacks on Gaza and creating terror in the hearts of the Palestinians and weakening the determination of the resistance.

The senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement said that the resistance had frightened Israeli officials by increasing its power, adding: "Israel is trying to upset the equation, but the resistance will never allow it."

Israeli warplanes pounded different parts of the Gaza Strip on Saturday morning, injuring two people and causing severe damage to homes, schools, mosques, and other places.
