Iran Press/ Iran news: Kazem Gharibabadi made the comments on his Twitter account early Friday in response to the recent remarks of "Rafael Grossi", Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
In his first interview after the assassination of the late Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, Iranian nuclear scientist, Grossi claimed that Iran’s new decision to leave the voluntary implementation of the IAEA's additional protocol -under paragraphs 36 and 37 of the JCPOA- would lead to the escalation of tensions, saying Iran should not follow through on threats to increase uranium enrichment and throw out his inspectors.

"If implemented, these measures would be an even further deviation from the commitments that Iran entered into when it joined the agreement," Grossi said.
"I cannot imagine who would win from such a situation if there was any limitation of the IAEA inspectors as a result of this or any other situation were curtailed in their work,” he told Sky News.
"Very clearly we would have to inform about this. We would have to be very clear to the world this is happening,” he added while claiming that this in itself would not help anyone including Iran.
Grossi then expressed hope that the Agency can continue working with Iran in the way it must.
Reacting to these remarks, Gharibabadi stated that according to the JCPOA, providing any assessment and analysis is not part of the mission assigned to the IAEA.
"The only role of the IAEA in the Iran nuclear deal 2015 is to monitor and verify its nuclear activities and provide updated reports in this regard," Gharibabadi reiterated.
He concluded that legal proceedings in this regard would be seriously pursued soon.
