Tehran (IP) - The Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who is visiting Iran in a meeting with the Iranian Parliament's Speaker said: "After the Nagorno-Karabakh war, there are many ruins left behind and friendly and neighbouring countries must help us to rebuild."

Iran Press/Iran news: Referring to Iran's peace initiative to end the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Jeyhun Bayramov added: "Unfortunately, the liberated lands have been completely destroyed, and the Republic of Azerbaijan intends to cooperate with others to reconstruct these areas. Undoubtedly, neighbors and friends, including Iran, are at the forefront of this cooperation," the top diplomat added.

At the beginning of the meeting, Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf expressed his satisfaction with the announcement of a ceasefire between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia and said: The Leader, the Parliament, the officials and the people of Iran strongly supported the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Ghalibaf added: "Border cooperation and connection of railway routes can be a priority."

He expressed concern over the presence of terrorist forces in Azerbaijan and stressed the need for an immediate solution, calling the continued presence of terrorists and the Zionist regime in the Republic of Azerbaijan a threat to peace and security in the region.
