Iran Press/Iran news: The General Assembly of the world's metropolises was held on Monday virtually in the presence of the mayor of Tehran and other mayors of the world's metropolises from five continents.
In this meeting, "Pirooz Hanachi", the mayor of Tehran, was elected as the vice president of the International Metropolis Organization.
The mayor of Tehran was also elected chairman of the Urban Reconstruction and Architecture working group for the next three years.
Also, "Mohammad Reza Kalaei", the mayor of Mashhad, was elected as the regional deputy of this organization.
