Tehran (IP) - The deputy chairman of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission stated that it is clear to Iran that regimes such as Israel have direct involvement in the assassination of the top Iranian nuclear scientist martyr Fakhrizadeh.

Iran PressIran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Abbas Moghtadaei, the deputy chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran (Majlis), said that the issue of assassination, intimidation, and terror is one of the important issues that is recognized and considered in the rules of international law.

Moghtadaei added that the Islamic Republic of Iran could punish the perpetrators of the assassination of Martyr Fakhrizadeh in a way that will be a lesson for others.

The deputy chairman of the parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said Tehran has the right to defend itself and expects the Westerners to condemn martyr Fakhrizadeh's assassination regardless of double standards at least in speech.

Moghtadaei said the human rights criteria in the West are, in fact, in double standards format and that if a terrorist operation took place in a Western country, it would be a violation of human rights. "Still, now that the Iranian nuclear scientist has been assassinated, they are silent."

Last Friday, armed terrorists martyred Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, the head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense and Support of the Iranian Armed Forces and a prominent nuclear scientist.
