Pakistan's ambassador to the United Nations reiterated Islamabad's full support for the Palestinian people.

Iran PressAmerica: In response to recent rumors about the possibility of normalizing relations between Pakistan and Israel, Pakistani Ambassador to the United Nations Munir Akram said in a statement that supporting Palestine is an integral part of Islamabad's foreign policy.

"Supporting the self-determination right of Palestinians and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state is one of the main pillars of Pakistan's foreign policy," he said.

Earlier, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan while condemning the establishing relations between Muslim countries and Israel, stressed that unilateral measures, including the revelation of relations with the Zionist regime, would exacerbate the Palestinian problem.

Referring to the UAE's apparent betrayal of the Palestinian cause, Imran Khan told at a news conference: "Imposed steps, including the recognition of the Israeli regime, are by no means the solution to the Palestinian question, and they exacerbate this issue." 219
