479 people succumb to death in last 24 hours

Tehran (IP)- The spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health announced in her presser on Friday that 828,377 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 58,925 of the total infected people recovered.

Iran Press/Iran news: "According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to November 20, 2020, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 reached 13,260 cases out of whom 3,044 patients were hospitalized," the Spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She added that in the past 24 hours, 479 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 43,896, and 5,756 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

She pointed out that Provinces of Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, East Azerbaijan, South Khorasan, Semnan, Qazvin, Lorestan, Ardabil, Khuzestan, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Gilan, Bushehr, Zanjan, Ilam, Khorasan Razavi, Mazandaran, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Alborz, West Azerbaijan, Markazi, Kerman, North Khorasan, Hamedan, Yazd, and Kurdistan are regarded as red zones.

Hormozgan, Fars, Golestan, and Sistan and Baluchestan provinces are also regarded as orange and yellow zones.
