Tehran (IP)- In separate meetings with the ambassadors of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia, the head of the center for strategic studies of the President's office stressed the need for non-interference of ultra-regional powers in resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis.

Iran PressIran News: The Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan Boniad Huseynov and the Ambassador of Armenia in Tehran Artashes Toumanian met the Head of the Center for Strategic Studies of President Office Hesameddin Ashena and a group of experts of the center separately.

They discussed peace and the strengthening of bilateral and regional cooperation.

In these meetings, Hesameddin Ashena emphasized Iran's principled position in maintaining neutrality and non-interference of world powers in resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis and called for respect for international law and the commitment of the Armenian and Azeri sides to the ceasefire and efforts to find a lasting solution.

The Ambassadors of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia also stressed the importance of historical and cultural ties with Iran and expressed their interest in the comprehensive development of relations.
