Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry's spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said that Iranian companies will provide COVID-19 rapid test kits next week at a reasonable price.

Iran PressIran News: Attending a press conference on Wednesday, Lari said that since identifying patients is considered a key step in controlling the coronavirus, rapid test kits are applied easily and yield results in twenty minutes.

These tests will be done free in 16 hours and 24 hours centers for those who have symptoms, while in the past we had to have tests for those who were in critical conditions, the health official highlighted.

"We have placed an order to have these kits from South Korea too, but local ones will be more reasonable," Lari added.

Those who test positive will be introduced to the public transportation system of the country (trains and airplanes) and they will not be allowed to travel.
