Tehran (IP) - Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that Saudi Arabia must stop repeating baseless accusations and they cannot create peace in the region this way.

Iran PressIran news: Attending his weekly conference, Khatibzedeh responded to Iran Press' question regarding the Saudi king’s remarks that the world must take a position toward Iran's nuclear program, saying that the Saudis have repeated these accusations several times.

In response to the remarks of the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the foreign ministry spokesman advised the Saudis, noting: "The rulers of Al Saud should be loyal only to the capabilities of the Islamic world and the region, and Iran's friendship with Islamic countries continues."

Khatibzadeh stated that the repetitive sentences and boring statements of the Saudi rulers are not unnatural, adding: “Iran's message was quite clear: The Al Saud regime cannot manage the region with the greed to buy weapons and the lack of proper understanding of the regional and international equations and the repression of its people.”

He stressed that peace could not be achieved by killing the Yemeni people.

"We cannot unite with takfiri outfits. The resources of the Islamic world cannot be turned into a betrayal of the Palestinian cause. Until the rulers of Al Saud return from this stance, there is no prospect of coming out of the isolation for the rulers of Al Saud," he said.

The spokesman noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran knows all the mistakes, plans, and conspiracies of Al Saud.

"We are neighbors and we have no choice but to join hands for the betterment of the region and the rulers of Al Saud have to stay away from these baseless accusations," he concluded.
