4.3 Quake jolts Shushtar in southwestern Iran

An Earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale jolted the city of Shushtar in the southwestern province of Khuzestan on Thursday.

Iran PressIran News: According to the Iranian seismological site, the tremor occurred at 14:09 hours local time (10:39 hours GMT).

The epicenter of the tremor was registered at 22 KM deep in the city of Shushtar.

The earthquake was also easily felt in other provincial cities including Masjed Soleiman.

There have been no reports of any damage to property or loss of life.

Some minor tremors registered after the quake including a 3.3 and 2.5 Richter.

On Wednesday a magnitude 3.5 earthquakes jolted Shushtar.
