Hormozgan (IP) - A 4.2 magnitude earthquake hit Bastak county in Hormozgan Province, southern Iran, on Wednesday.

Iran Press/Iran news: The quake struck at a depth of 20 kilometers, according to the University of Tehran Seismological Center.

The epicenter of the quake was located at 54.57 degrees longitude and 27.3 degrees latitude.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or severe damage.
