Chabahar (IP) - Track-laying of Chabahar-Zahedan railway in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, southeast of Iran, began in a ceremony in the presence of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami.

Iran PressIran News: Mohammad Eslami traveled to Sistan and Baluchestan province on Wednesday to inaugurate and overhaul 24 offshore and port projects and start track-laying of Chabahar-Zahedan railway, totally worth 20,000 billion rials.

During his trip, the Iranian minister will inaugurate 13 offshore and port projects with a credit of 4,133 billion Rials and will start the implementation of 11 construction projects worth 15,964 billion Rials.

Starting the track-laying of the Chabahar-Zahedan railway, which will be implemented from Chabahar to Nikshahr, is another project that will be put into practice during the Iranian minister's visit to the south of Sistan and Baluchestan province.

During his two-day visit to Sistan and Baluchestan province, Eslami will travel to Iranshahr, Zahedan, and Zabol to inaugurate and visit various projects of road and urban development.
