Tehran (IP): The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while expressing his condolences to the government and people of Turkey following the Izmir earthquake, announced Tehran's readiness to send any kind of relief and medical aid and assistance to the earthquake victims.

Iran PressIran News: The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, on Saturday sent a message to the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, expressing his regret over the tragic earthquake in Izmir and the death and injury of some people in this country.

He also asked God Almighty for patience for the bereaved families and for immediate healing for the injured.

Rouhani also expressed the readiness of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to send any kind of relief and medical aid and assistance to the people of the earthquake-stricken areas and hoped that safe conditions would return to the affected areas as soon as possible.

Earlier Iranian  speaker of the Parliament Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf also extended his deepest condolences to his Turkish Counterpart Mustafa Sentop on Saturday by releasing a condolence letter.
