Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister sent a message of sympathy to his Turkish counterpart over the earthquake that occurred in Turkey's Izmir.

Iran PressIran News: In his letter to the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on Friday, Mohammad Javad Zarif sympathized over the incident and wished health for the injured.

Zarif announced Iran's readiness for any assistance to Turkey over the disaster.

At least four people were killed and 152 others injured in the western Izmir province after a magnitude 6.6 earthquake jolted Turkey's Aegean region on Friday, according to the nation’s disaster agency.
