Manama (IP) - Bahrain's Interior Ministry has announced that it will prosecute those who oppose the country's compromise agreement with Israel on social media.

Iran PressMiddle East: The Interior Ministry's Office for Anti Corruption, Economic,  Electronic Security in Bahrain said it is monitoring the accounts in the social media that are suspicious of tarnishing Bahrain's reputation abroad.

The Bahraini Ministry of Interior further claimed that these accounts operate in sedition, threatening national peace and social texture, disrupting security and stability, and are managed by fugitives outside Bahrain.

Bahrain and the UAE normalized relations with Israel in mid-September, which provoked widespread reactions and opposition.

After Egypt in 1979 and Jordan in 1994, the United Arab Emirates, as the third Arab country and Bahrain as the fourth Arab country, signed a normalization agreement with the Zionist regime.
