Iran Press/Iran news: On the occasion of the inauguration of the new Iranian parliament on Monday, May 27, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution addressed the new members of parliament in a message.
Hojatoleslam Mohammad Mohammadi Golpayegani, Head of the Leader's office attend the meeting in the parliament and read Ayatollah Khamenei's message.
Leader told the MPs in his message that the new parliament with its combination of young representatives and experienced lawmakers conveys the message that it can keep away the legislation from balance by mixing maturity and modernity within the framework of its authority scope.
He warned the MPs against any useless political disputes: "In the parliament itself useless media campaigns and harmful political disputes must no waste the short term of the MPs' responsibility because it will lead to the detriment of their precious presence in the sublime position and that is a large loss."
Still, the Leader pointed out that the swear the new lawmakers take is a real one and will make them accountable both in this world and the hereafter, so they must always consider it as a criterion in their career.
Islamic lifestyle was another thing Ayatollah Khamenei stressed which would get more significance in the arena of political challenges and legitimate competitions.
He referred to the recent Iranian officials martyred as an example of those who observed the moral codes.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution described each lawmaker as a representative of the whole of Iran who must work for the interest of the whole country at a macrolevel approach and abandon those extravagant plans that are out of the country's construction capacity. 204
