Iran-Russia cooperate in producing COVID-19 vaccine

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Moscow Kazem Jalali, and the Spokeswoman of the Foreign Ministry of Russia, Maria Zakharova, met in the third meeting of the Iran-Russia Media Cooperation Committee on Thursday.

Iran PressEurope: The two officials stressed the need for continuous communication between the Iranian and Russian media.

During the meeting, Jalali stressed the cooperation between the two sides in producing the COVID-19 vaccine and the need to solve the travel barriers of Iranian people in business and students.

Earlier, Kazem Jalali and Andrei Fursenko Special Assistant to the President of Russia for Science and Technology Policy and Secretary of the Science and Education Council have discussed issues related to Iran-Russia cooperation in the fields of technology, science, and academia.
