Isfahan (IP) - Isfahan, central Iran, will host the 30th Iran National Nuclear Conference and the first International Nuclear Science and Technology Conference with the participation of the Head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Iran PressIran news: The conference will start on Monday, May 6, and continue to Wednesday with Mohammad Eslami, the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI), and Rafael Grossi, the head of IAEA, being scheduled to hold a joint press conference on Tuesday.

The conference is organized by the Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute of Iran (NSTRI) and is one of the leading international conferences to present new and fundamental nuclear developments in Iran.

Specialized panels will be held about the use of radiation (industry, medicine, and environment), nuclear reactors (safe operation, maintenance, and engineering), nuclear physics and particle accelerators, nuclear safety and security, nuclear agriculture, nuclear fuel cycle, quantum technology, nuclear education, nuclear governance, climate change and the role of nuclear energy.

Guests from countries including Hungary, Russia, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, etc. will participate in the event.
