Iran Press/West Asia: According to al-Mayadeen, this drone was shot down in Khasif areas in Wadi Obaidah in the southeast of Marib province in the northeast of Yemen.
Some unofficial sources announced the type of this drone as MQ9 Reaper, which was shot down in the sky of Marib.
This is not the first time that the Yemeni army has succeeded in shooting down a US military drone. On May 8 this year, one of these drones was also shot down in the sky of Sa'ada province in northern Yemen.
General Atomics manufactures this UAV and it costs more than 32 million dollars. Previously, the Yemeni armed forces had hunted down a drone of the same type in November.
