Iran coronavirus recovered patients number surpasses over 353k

Tehran (IP) - The spokeswoman for the Iranian Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari said on Thursday that fortunately, 353,848 patients have recovered from COVID-19 and discharged from hospitals so far.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian Health Ministry Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said on Thursday, September 17, that the total number of coronavirus infection cases in the country has reached 413,149. 

Sima Sadat Lari added: "With 176 new deaths in the past 24 hours, the death toll from the virus has reached 23,808." 

She also said 2,815 new cases were diagnosed since yesterday, 1,628 of whom were hospitalized.

Iranian Health official also stated that the number of those who have so far recovered from the viral infection stands at 353,848.

According to the spokeswoman, 3,848 patients are in critical condition. 

The spokeswoman also added that 3,667,551 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been carried out in Iran so far. 

Lari said: "According to the latest corona information in the country, the provinces of Tehran, Mazandaran, Gilan, Qom, Isfahan, Khorasan Razavi, East Azerbaijan, Kerman, North Khorasan, Semnan, Yazd, Zanjan, and Qazvin are in the red situation."
