Tehran (IP) - The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari said on Tuesday in her presser that so far, 407,353 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus, and 349,984 of the total infected people have recovered and been discharged.

Iran PressIran News: According to Sima Sadat Lari, definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 15, 2020, in the country, 2,705 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed, out of whom 1,299 of patients were hospitalized.

The Spokeswoman said that in the past 24 hours, 140 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 23,453 people have lost their lives in the country to date.

3,811 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

"So far, around 3,613,891 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman noted.

According to the spokeswoman, the provinces of Tehran, Mazandaran, Gilan, Qom, Isfahan, Khorasan Razavi, East Azerbaijan, Kerman, North Khorasan, Semnan, Yazd, Zanjan, and Qazvin are in the red.

Also, the provinces of West Azerbaijan, Alborz, Fars, Lorestan, Hormozgan, Ardabil, Bushehr, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, South Khorasan, Markazi, Ilam, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Golestan, and Khuzestan are on alert.
