Railway emergency clinic set up to accelerate treatment of patients: Health Minister

Tehran(IP)- Iranian Health Minister Saeed Namaki said operating the emergency clinic in the railways is the most important move to reduce the stress of people traveling by train, as well as speeding up treatment in the times of incidents.

Iran Press/Iran news: The country's emergency services have been very active, especially during earthquake or floods, and also Arba'een March, Namaki added.

He noted that Iran has also launched maritime ambulances for the inhabitants of the Persian Gulf islands.

"With the opening of the emergency clinic in railways, Iran's land and airborne emergency services will be completed," stated the Health Minister.

Training human resources have been an EMS organization's priority, and for the first time in medical universities, we have a women's emergency medical course, which is 30% of the course allocated to them because the country is in need of women as emergency service staff, reiterated the minister.
