25,000 anti-Netanyahu protesters demonstrated last night in Balfour and Paris Square against the prime minister on the 12th Saturday night in a row.

Iran Press/Middle East: 9 demonstrators were arrested by the Israeli police during a mass demonstration in Balfour and Paris Square in Jerusalem al Quds.

Eyewitnesses claimed the protesters were violently assaulted by police forces.

Thousands of more protesters demonstrated on Saturday night in front of the prime minister’s residence in Caesarea, Al Jazeera reported.

Meanwhile, hundreds of protesters gathered along the street at the entrance to Ben-Gurion Airport on Sunday night to cause a traffic jam at the entrance ahead of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's expected trip to the US to sign compromise agreements with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

Protesters managed to block the entrance to Terminal 3, the main terminal for departing international flights, calling Netanyahu's trip unjustified in light of the upcoming coronavirus lockdown in Israel.
