The Armenian artist Tadeos Der Mesropian selects Iranian tourist and pilgrimage sites for painting; the fact which lies in his interest in Iranian history.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Der Mesropian, had graduated from the Armenian University of Arts in 1974 and began his career as a painter and designer in Yerevan. ‌

This Armenian artist is specifically interested in the painting nature and historical monuments, especially in Iran, and he paints in pencil, oil paint, and watercolor.

In an interview with Iran Press in Yerevan, Thaddeus in Mesropian said that he had traveled to many countries, but none of these trips had been as effective as the trip to Iran.

The Armenian artist added that he traveled to Iran last summer and visited the cities of Isfahan, Tehran, Qom, Yazd, and Shiraz.

He stated that after returning to Armenia, the beauty and glory of Isfahan, the spiritual atmosphere of the holy shrine of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (AS), the meaningful tranquility of the tomb of Hafez in Shiraz and the diverse nature of Iran were influential and led him to the depiction of these places.

Der Mesropian said that during his trip to Iran, he got acquainted with the rich Iranian culture and civilization and that the Iranian nation has protected its culture and civilization well for centuries. 104/207
