Iran Press/ Iran news: During this visit, the South African diplomat met and held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
In the meeting, the two sides emphasized the development of bilateral cooperation and interactions.
They also exchanged views on the most important regional and international issues.
The Iranian Foreign Minister said that Nelson Mandela is known as a symbol of racial discrimination, especially since the world is witnessing the genocide of the fake Zionist regime.
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian also said that he exchanged views on the situation in the region and the continuation of crimes committed by the Israeli regime.
Amir-Abdollahian thanked the South African government for its support for the oppressed Palestinian nation, he added.
"Tehran and Pretoria enjoy common approaches in international, and regional issues," said Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in his joint presser with his South African counterpart Naledi Pandor on Sunday.
Referring to President Raisi's visit to South Africa, the Iranian diplomat said that the so-called visit by the two countries' presidents was the term of today's talk.
The two diplomats exchanged views on the bilateral issues and the regional and international matters, according to Amir-Abdollahian.
The Iranian top diplomat appreciated the approach of South Africa supporting Palestine and confronting the apartheid regime.
"What we are witnessing in Gaza today is a proxy war by the Zionist regime, which is waging this war on behalf of the American regime against the oppressed nation and the Palestinian civilians," added the Iranian chief diplomat.
Amir-Abdollahian pointed to Biden's visit from Tel Aviv, where the U.S. president hastily visited the Israeli regime, which is committing war crimes and massacre in the Gaza Strip.
While the U.S. President announced sending hundreds of planes, ships, and trucks to the Zionist regime to support the genocide by the Israelis in the Gaza Strip, "It is a shame," said Amir-Abdollahian that Biden says he was able to get permission for the transfer of twenty trucks to pass the borders and help Gazans.
Pointing to the OIC meeting held in Jeddah, the Iranian foreign minister stated that today the Arabic and Islamic countries need to be "united".
He expressed hope that the Arabic countries take a much firmer position in countering the Israeli war crimes.
Naldi Pandour referring to the unilateral US sanctions said: "BRICS helps us to have financial exchanges."
Referring to the people of Gaza and Palestine she noted: "The international community should pay attention to the lack of human rights in Gaza. It cannot be that some people deserve human rights and others don't."
Pandour added: "The international community should take action against the injustice towards the Palestinian people."
She said: "South Africa is steadfast in supporting Palestine until this land is free, and this support will increase."
