Iran Ambassador to Britain Hamid Baiedinejad

Iran's Ambassador to Britain Hamid Baiedinejad said in his latest tweet released on Monday night that the European Troika believes that the United States is not legally able to snap back against Iran.

Iran PressEurope: According to a tweet by Baiedinejad, Director-General for Political Affairs and Security of the French Foreign Ministry Philippe Errera in the ECFR20 Virtual Annual Council meeting has said that based on what France, Britain, and Germany have declared in their recent statement, the European Troika would never back the US offer for snapping back against Iran.

Iran's top diplomat added in another tweet that Pompeo repetitively has threatened that if the UN security council does not support an extension of the arms embargo against Iran, they would then offer the request for snapping back.

"The three EU countries believe that the US is not legally capable of adhering to such action to resume international sanctions against Iran," he added. 207/216
