Iran Press/ Europe: The national powerlifting team of Iran competed with 6 athletes and managed to secure 3 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
On August 25, 2023, on the last day of the tournament, Arash Hassanpour won two bronze medals in the 110 kg category in squat and bench press.
Rohan Ahmadi, the 110 kg, also won two gold medals in both squat and bench press.
