Iran Press/ Middle East: Iran's FM Hossain Amir-Abdollahian, who arrived on Thursday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on a formal invitation his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, left the country on Friday for Iran.
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who visited Saudi Arabia at the head of a delegation in response to the official invitation of Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, met with his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farahan and the Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.
The talks exchanged in the meetings mainly focused on bilateral economic and security issues as well as regional and international affairs.
The Iranian FM's trip to Saudi Arabia is assessed as a new chapter in the Tehran-Riyadh relations and openings in regional issues.
