(IP)- The Oil Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced the country's daily production of nearly 2.3 million barrels of oil.

Iran PressIran news: Statistics show that Iran's oil production has increased in recent years despite the U.S. sanctions. 

Iran's Oil Minister, Javad Owji, announced that the country is set to produce 3.3 million barrels of crude oil in a month, with $15 billion worth of half-finished projects to be put into operation this year.  

Owji announced at the meeting of the Civil Defense Council on Sunday that Phase 11 of the South Pars Gas field, located on the Iran-Qatar border, was put into operation three years earlier than expected due to continuous follow-ups.
