Iranian researchers manufacture Ozone-based disinfector

Tehran (IP) - Iranian researchers at Tehran's Amirkabir University of Technology managed to manufacture an 'Ozonizer' device to disinfect different sites through oxygen without the need for chemical substances.

Iran Press/Iran News: The Amirkabir University of Technology announced on Saturday that one of its knowledge-based companies focused on devising ozonizer to play its role in saving the Iranian's health, with regard to the outbreak of the coronavirus and the significance of disinfection of high-risk sites in the country. 

Ozone, as a powerful oxidizer, has the ability to kill micro-organisms such as bacteria, fungi, and viruses.

Air disinfectants are suitable for disinfection of hospitals, offices, meeting and conference halls, parliaments, banks, home or work environments, hotels, public places, trains, and passenger terminals and etc.
