Invention of ozone disinfection tunnel in Tabriz, Iran

Tabriz (IP) - An ozone disinfection system was invented for the first time in Iran by an employee of Tabriz Municipality and was given to firefighters.

Iran Press/Iran News: The ozone disinfection system systematically destroys the viruses without the need for disinfectants and acts 3200 times faster and 60 times stronger than disinfectant solutions.

According to the deputy mayor of Tabriz, the disinfection tunnel with the ozone gas will cause less damage to people, cars and the environment.

According to Mohammad-Hossein Kooh-Kamari, the manufacturer of the disinfection system, East Asian countries such as Korea, Japan, and China have used this system and it has been approved by the World Health Organization. For the first time in Iran, this device has been installed in Tabriz.

The device is completely indigenous and has no imported parts or materials and is expected to be installed in all busy offices and crowded passages of the city.

Ozone is a safe and environmentally friendly gas that was proven to kill the SARS coronavirus.

Iran has managed to decrease the daily death toll from the novel coronavirus to 98 patients during the past 24 hours, marking the lowest daily death toll since a month ago.

Iranian Health Ministry Spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour announced that so far, around 75,000 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus, more than 4,600 people have died due to the virus and more than 48,000 have recovered.

COVID-19 has infected nearly 2,000,000 people around the world and killed at least 125,000 people, while more than 466,000 have recovered.
