Tehran (IP) - The Commander of Mohammad Rasul-Allah Division of Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said that today the world has been looking at Iran’s capability of controlling the coronavirus despite all sanctions imposed on the country.

Iran PressIran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Yazdi said: "Today in controlling the Coronavirus and the number of the infected patients, a decrease of the deaths, and increase of the recovered patients we are considered as an exemplar."

Brigadier General Yazdi stated that IRGC along with Basij (popular volunteer forces) and medical staff are fighting the Coronavirus.

He pointed to IRGC efforts to disinfect places, produce masks and disinfectants, and noted that the efforts have worked well besides the medical staffs’ efforts.

Brigadier General Yazdi stressed that Iran's success is the result of Basij and the medical staff's hard work and the people with their observance of hygienic disciplines.

Brigadier General Yazdi's remarks came on the sidelines of Biological and Environmental Defense Exercise held on Thursday afternoon in the Iranian capital of Tehran by IRGC’s 27th infantry division.
