Shiraz (IP) - One of the factories in the city of Shiraz, the capital of Fars province, southern Iran, produces healthcare products to combat coronavirus.

Iran Press/Iran News: This factory produces more than 100,000 masks in a day, in partnership with 70 Basij (Persian for volunteer forces), and provides it to Shiraz University of Medical Sciences.

In addition, another factory of Shiraz Industrial park produces 5 tons of antiseptic solutions every day.

Iran has confirmed nearly 25,000 cases of coronavirus since the infection was spotted in the country on February 19. 

Nearly 9,000 people have recovered and around 2,000 have died of the virus, according to the latest figures provided by the Health Ministry.  101
