Pakistani FM to visit Tehran on Sunday

Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman has confirmed that the Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Qureshi will visit Tehran on Sunday (tomorrow) to hold talks with his counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif and other senior Iranian officials.

Iran Press/Iran News: The Foreign Ministry spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said on Saturday that deepening bilateral ties and discussing the latest regional developments are at the top of the agenda during Shah Mahmood Qureshi's trip to Iran.

Pakistan's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Aisha Farooqui said earlier that the aim of the trip is to de-escalate tensions in the region.
