Iran Press/ Iran news: Hassan Rouhani sent the message at the same time as tasking a delegation with investigating the causes of the incident.
President Hassan Rouhani’s message is as follows:
We are all from Allah and to Him, we shall return (Holy Quran)
The immense presence of the great Iranian people at the funeral of the Commander of Islam and Iran, Martyr Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, displayed a manifestation of the gratefulness of the Iranian people; the existence that did his best in defending the country's territorial integrity at the time of his presence, and his body created a surge from the south to the north of the country as well, Iran Press reported.
Unfortunately in his funeral, a number of dear fellow Iranians have lost their lives due to the overwhelming number of people attending the ceremony.
I have called on the respectful Minister of Health and Medical Education, who is currently in Kerman, to take immediate care of the injured.
The Honourable First Vice-President has also been assigned to look into the situation of their families and assign a delegation to investigate the causes of the incident.
I extend my condolences to the bereaved families and pray to the Almighty for those who lost their lives.
