The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that paying tribute to religious scholars is glorifying religious education and true cognisance of God, which is necessary for our country.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking at a meeting with the organisers of a commemoration ceremony for the late religious scholar Ayatollah Hadi Ta'allohi from the city of Hamadan on 30 September 2019 in Tehran, which were published today (19 December), Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei praised the organisers of the event, and the young people of Hamadan who have benefitted greatly from such outstanding religious scholars as the late Ayatollah Ta'allohi, or the late Sheikh Mohammad Bahari, or the late Ayatollah Molla Hussein-Gholi Hamedani.

The Leader praised the city of Hamadan from which a long line of outstanding religious scholars and gnostics have emerged over the years.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei also referred to a brief meeting he once had with Ayatollah Hadi Ta'allohi, during the eight-year-imposed war against Iran. The Leader said he clearly remembers during his visit to Hamedan in those years that many enthusiastic young revolutionary people surrounded the septuagenarian Ayatollah Ta'allohi, who like a beacon of light, guided young revolutionaries who benefitted greatly from his teachings and experience.

Ayatollah Khamenei also priased the organisers of this commemoration ceremony, saying if it is possible, video and audiotapes of the late Ayatollah Ta'allohi should be broadcast so that the general public can benefit from the teachings of this prominent religious scholar.
