Iran Press/ Middle East: Yemeni Army and Popular Committees announced that they hit the Saudi mercenaries' positions near Asir region, South Western of Saudi Arabia, with 3 'Zelzal 1' Yemeni-made ballistic missiles.
Also last Thursday night, Yemeni forces pounded Saudi regime's positions with four 'Zelzal 1' missiles in the same region, Iran Press reported.
Almost on a daily basis, Yemeni Army and Popular Committees are hitting Saudi soil in response to the on-going Saudi invasion of Yemen, and killing of Yemeni civilians.
Yemen's Defence Minister Major General Mohammed Nasser al-Atefi had recently warned the Saudi regime about the serious consequences of continuing the war in Yemen.
According to a recent report released by the United Nations, over 7,500 children have been killed or wounded in Yemen since 2013, as a result of Saudi-led airstrikes, shelling, fighting, suicide attacks, mines, and other unexploded ordnance.
Backed by US, the Saudi regime and some of its Arab allies invaded Yemen in 2015 and have enforced a strict blockade of the country by ground, air, and sea ever since.
The Saudi war has impacted over seven million children in Yemen who now face a serious threat of famine, according to UNICEF figures. Over 6,000 children have either been killed or sustained serious injuries since 2015, UN children’s agency said. The humanitarian situation in the country has also been exacerbated by outbreaks of cholera, polio, and measles. 203/211/215
