Iran Press/ Iran news: Iranian long jumper Zahra Bornaki was awarded the 2018 Asian Para Games silver medal after the Asian Paralympic Committee announced that Uzbekistan’s athlete Abdullaeva Kamolakhon is stripped of her title due to doping.
Kamolakhon, who took gold in the T54/46/47 women's long jump, tested positive for methasterone after a urine test on October 8; hence, the Iranian athlete' medal changed from bronze to silver.
Lallwala Palliyagurunnans Amara Indumathi Karunathi of Sri Lanka, who previously had the silver, now has been upgraded to the gold medal.
