Iranian, Russian FMs to discuss international issues in Moscow

Heading a high-ranking delegation, Iran’s Foreign Minister is due to travel to Moscow on Tuesday night to meet with Russian FM and discuss a host of international issues.

Iran Press/Europe: The Russian Foreign Ministry announced in its statement on Tuesday that Mohammad Javad Zarif and Sergey Lavrov will meet on Wednesday May 8 in Moscow, Iran Press reported.

Sergey Lavrov and Mohammad Javad Zarif will discuss Syria, Venezuela, the Caspian Sea, Central Asia at their upcoming meeting in Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry said today.

"The ministers are expected to compare notes on the key regional and international issues, including the Syrian settlement, the Caspian Sea region, South Caucasus, central Asia, Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action (JCPOA), Venezuela and many other things," the ministry announced. 212/103
